How to Service and Repair the Fuse in the Ignition Off-Draw (IOD) System on 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

When servicing or repairing the IOD fuse, first set the ignition switch to OFF so that the radio display does not get scrambled. Take the key out, turn off the ignition switch, take off the PDC cover and remove fuse 18. When installing, replace fuse 18 in the PDC and put the cover back on. A scrambled radio display can often be fixed by taking out and putting back the IOD fuse, keeping the ignition off.
