Change the oil filter using the right wrench and deal with it according to environmental rules. Following that, clean the base of the filter and check the surface of the gasket that seals the filter. Grasp the oil filter with the proper wrench, put a drop of clean oil on its gasket and secure the filter after the gasket touches the base, with 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.) of force. After emptying the crankcase, fill it with the recommended engine oil and start running the engine. Check for any leaks coming from the engine.
