How to Service a Dimmer Switch on 2002 Dodge Dakota?

In order to service the dimmer switch, turn off the airbag system by removing the battery. Take out the covers of the steering column and disconnect the multi-function switch. Install the new switch, re-fit the harness and re-fit the shrouds. Lastly, reattach the battery, and the installation is complete.
