2003 Dodge Durango Brake Master Cylinder Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Service and Repair a Brake Master Cylinder on 2003 Dodge Durango?
A: First, pull the brake lines out of the brake master cylinder, separate the connection to the low fluid switch and remove the nuts holding the brake master cylinder. If you're installing a new brake master cylinder, remember to bleed it first. Attach the new brake master cylinder to the booster using the stud and mounting nuts tightened to 18 Nm (160 inch lbs.) and then tighten the brake lines to 19 Nm (170 inch lbs.). Finish up by reconnecting the low fluid level switch and then top up and release the base braking system.
