How to Service a Coolant Temperature Sensor on 2002 Dodge Intrepid?

To service the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor with cold engine, disconnect the negative cable and the coolant sensor connector. Remove the sensor, install the new one with 28 nm (20 ft. lbs.) torque, reconnect the electrical connector and reattach the negative cable.
