2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install an Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: The IMT sensor is found just near the front of the throttle body within the intake manifold plenum. The first thing to do is pull the electrical connector from the sensor, then remove the sensor from the intake manifold. After the sensor is back in place, close it securely to 28 Nm (20 ft. lbs.), then attach the electrical wire.
