  • Q: How to Service a Throttle Position Sensor on the Throttle Body on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
    A: In order to service the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS), remove the electrical connector, and the mounting screws. Be sure that the throttle shaft slides into the TPS socket which should rotate slightly. Tighten screws at 7 Nm torque to fix the TPS, re-attached the electrical connector, and ensure that the TPS is not bound prior to turning on the engine.
