How to Remove and Install an Ignition Lock Cylinder on 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to take away the ignition lock cylinder, make sure that the key is in the cylinder and negative battery cable is disconnected. In the case of automatic transmission, position the shifter at PARK. Switch the key to ON and find the release tang and remove the cylinder. Install again by pressing and check operation.
