How to service and repair a Shift Indicator on 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Remove the gear shift knob and the floor console as the beginning step to service or repair the shift indicator. Take the socket out of the transaxle indicator and take the bulb out of the socket. While installing, push the bulb into its socket, snap the socket in its place, reattach the floor console and then put in the gear shift knob.
