How to Service the Rear Brake Disc on 2003 Dodge Neon?

Lift the vehicle, then eliminate the rear tire and the wheel assembly before servicing the rear brake disc. Then, disconnect the rear brake caliper assembly from the disc and keep it somewhere safe. Detach the clips securing the brake disc and pull it right off the wheel mounting studs. Before fitting the new brake disc, look at the disc brake shoes and parking brake shoes. Slide the rear brake disc onto the wheel mounting studs and push it onto the hub, before you reconnect the caliper. After that, carefully fit the tire and wheel back on and tighten the wheel nuts to a torque of 135 Nm (100 ft. lbs.). Fix the parking brake shoes if they need it, then lower the car and pump the brake pedal to press the brake shoes onto the disc.
