How to Remove and Install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

You will find the intake manifold temperature (IMT) sensor placed along the left side of the intake manifold plenum. Before removing the sensor, unplug its electrical connector and wipe any dirt that's collected under its base on the manifold. After that, pull up on the little plastic release tab and turn the sensor about a quarter turn counterclockwise to disconnect it, examining the state of its O-ring. Before fitting the sensor, remove any dirt from the sensor O-ring and from the sensor mounting hole in the intake manifold. Gently put the sensor into the manifold and rotate it clockwise, passing the release tab mark and then connect the electrical connector.
