How to Service and Repair a Parking Brake Cable on the Left Rear on 2003 Dodge Ram 1500?

Before repairing and servicing the left rear parking brake cable, lift the car and lock out the parking brake cable. Untighten the brake cable at the equalizer and adjuster nut and next, take out the left brake cable from the equalizer, the frame bracket and the brake lever. Start installation by attaching the brake cable to the brake lever, next bring on the frame bracket and finally clamp the equalizer. To finish, tighten or loosen the brake cable at the equalizer and adjuster nut.
