Single cardan universal joints need to be replaced in an assembly if worn. Remove the propeller shaft and loosen the snap rings and press out the bearing caps. Make sure to align during installation, apply grease and snap rings. After check if stiff, tap the yoke to seat the bearings, and then reinstall the propeller shaft.
