A: Removal of the steering column cover and lower trim panel are necessary so as to repair the brake light switch. To remove the switch, rotate it 30 o. Once the harness has been disconnected install the new switch by lengthening the plunger, attaching the harness and fitting it through screwing clockwise. Push the brake pedal to change the plunger.
