How to Service and Repair a Camshaft Seal on 2004 Chrysler 300M?

Removing the camshaft sprocket(s) is the first step to servicing and repairing the camshaft oil seal. Then, remove the oil seal for the camshaft with Special Tool C-3981B. Engine oil applied to the camshaft oil seal lip will help with installation. Use Special Tool 6788 Seal Protector Sleeve and Seal Installer 6052 to set the oil seal in place. The last step is to place the camshaft sprocket(s) back into place.
