How to Service and Repair a Tie Rod End on 2004 Dodge Neon?

In order to service the outer tie rod, elevate the car, deflate the tire and loosen the jam nut. Unscrew the outer tie rod with tool MB991113, and unscrew this rod with the inner tie rod. To install, make sure the nuts are well aligned and tightened to required levels and then ensure the vehicle comes down.
