How to Service and Repair the Right-Side Battery Tray on 2004 Dodge Ram 1500?

To repair the battery tray on the right, first move the battery out of the tray, next take off the right front wheelhouse splash shield and cut off the right front fender ground wire. After that, remove the fasteners holding the grid heater relay bracket and take out the air box. Then, take out the bolts that are holding the battery tray and remove the tray from the vehicle. While installing, set the battery tray into place, attach the retaining bolts, connect up the right front fender ground wire and put the air box back in. Now, set the grid heater relay bracket in place, add the right front wheelhouse splash shield and secure the battery into its tray.
