Pull on the connector tab at the field wire plug at the back of the generator, then remove one of the rear bolts holding the generator to the vertical frame. After that, get rid of the two bolts that link the front horizontal generator mounts to the vehicle and remove the generator. Set up the generator to face the engine, then put in the two horizontal bolts and one vertical bolt, tightening all of them according to Torque Specifications.
