2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Seat Heater Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Replace the Passenger Seat Heater Switch on 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee?
A: Before starting, disconnect and isolate the negative cable of the vehicle's battery. Take out the center lower bezel on the instrument panel. Then, remove the four screws attaching the heating switch to the back of the center lower bezel and lift the heating switch out. Installing the switch means placing it on the back of the center lower bezel and heating it with a screwdriver that provides 1.5 Nm (13 in. lbs.) of torque. Replace the center lower bezel onto the instrument panel, followed by attaching the battery's ground cable as well.
