    A: A good first step in handling and fixing the expansion valve is to get rid of the refrigerant from the system. Delete the nut 1 and take the pressure lines off, next take out the screws 2 and remove the expansion valve 3 from the pressure lines. When connecting the installation, join the expansion valve 3 to the pressure lines and make sure to fasten the screws so that the valve isn't tilted. Insert bolts 2 into the frame and tighten them to 8 Nm (71 in. lbs.). Install the replacement O-rings and attach the pressure lines and then tighten nut 1 to 10 Nm (88 in. lbs.). After that, power on the air conditioning system and see if there are any leaks.
