How to Service a Camshaft Position Sensor on 2005 Chrysler Crossfire?

The first step in servicing the camshaft position sensor is to take out the negative battery cable and then the sensor's harness connector. Remove the bolt that holds the camshaft position sensor and take the sensor out of the cylinder head. Look at the camshaft position sensor O-ring before installing it and lubricate it if that's necessary using engine oil. Attach the camshaft position sensor to the cylinder head and put in the retaining bolt, tightening it to 8 N.m (71 in. lbs.). Last, join the camshaft position sensor harness connector to its wire again and the negative terminal of the battery cable.
