How to service a drain plug on 2005 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Make sure to drain the cooling system first, before touching the radiator drain plug. After opening, press on the draincock until the water stops flowing, turn it back slightly and then pull it from the tank. Place the draincock stem above the radiator tank so that it goes through the opening, then push it tightly in. Turn the draincock clockwise until it gets tight and then fill the water into the cooling system.
