  A: Before handling the wiper blade, make sure the wiper arm doesn't snap back onto the window so as not to harm it. Initially, raise the wiper arm so the blade and wiper element are raised from the glass until their hinge reaches beyond its center point. Press in the latch release tab found underneath the tip of the arm and then move the blade away from the pivot to free the locking inside the arm. Press the hook through the wiper blade opening in the superstructure and lower the wiper arm's tip onto the windshield. When installing, lift the wiper arm off the windshield so it reaches its over-center position. Place the wiper at the hook, so that the notched tip of the flexor points toward the pivot. Slide the hook formation into the opening in the blade structure above the pivot block so that the block slides fully into the hook. Slide the pivot block upward, using the hook formation, until you hear the release tab click and then gently lay the wiper and element on the glass.
