First lift and support the vehicle and then use a suitable device to support the rear axle. Take out both the bottom shock bolt and the bell crank bolt (4) from the rear axle. Shut the jack halfway, so you can pull out the spring and isolator. Be sure to apply all installations torques while the vehicle is fully loaded and resting on all tires. Lay spring (3) on top of the isolator (2) and guide the springs (3) so they sit in the spring pockets. Set the rear axle in position and secure the rear arm or bell crank bolt (4), to the axle with a torque of 251 Newton metres (185 foot-pounds). After that, add the lower shock bolts to the back axle and tighten them to the same torque as mentioned earlier. Lastly, remove the front support for the rear axle.
