2005 Dodge Durango Wiper Blade Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain Your Wiper Blade for Optimal Performance on 2005 Dodge Durango?
A: For the service, lay the wiper arm back and have it push on the wiper so that the wiper blade and element are lifted and resting off the windshield. To remove the blade, press down on the release tab under the tip of the arm and glide the blade towards the pivot end to enable the block on the arm to detach from the hook at its end. Push the base of the hook through the opening in the wiper blade frame just in front of the pivot block and gently bring the wiper arm tip into contact with the glass. To install your blades, pull the wiper arm from the glass so that the angle is farther than normal. Hold the wiper blade onto the arm's tip, making sure the partially hooked end of the wiper flexor is aimed towards the wiper pivot. Pull the hook block through the front of the blade superstructure far enough so that the pivot block on the bottom can enter the hook. Carry the pivot block to the top of the hook, so the latch release clicks loudly and guides the wiper and element to rest on the windshield.
