2006 Dodge Durango Wiper Blade Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Maintain Your Wiper Blade on 2006 Dodge Durango?
A: Raise the wiper arm and lift off the wiper blade and element until the arm's hinge is in its lifted position over the glass. To remove the blade, press the latch release tab sitting under the tip of the arm which allows you to slide it out from the back of the arm, away from the blade. Pull the hook shaped part of the wiper arm out of the tip of its arm, put the wiper arm through the opening in the wiper blade superstructure in front of the pivot block and carefully drop the end of the wiper arm on the glass. To begin installation, take the wiper off the glass so it sits with the hinge in the center position. Put the wiper blade close to the pointed section of the arm so that the notched section of the flexor faces the wiper pivot. Push the hook assembly through the opening in theBlade Superstructure close to the pivot block, so the block is captured by the hook. Move the pivot block into the hook formation, letting the latch release tab click securely as it goes into its locked spot and slowly lower the wiper onto the glass.
