  • Q: How to Service and Replace a Windshield Washer Nozzle on the Liftgate on 2005 Dodge Durango?
    A: Before removing the rear windshield washer spray nozzle, remember that its latch feature is must be thrown out if you remove it due to its one-use design, so you need to replace the unit. First, gently lift at the bottom of the rear washer nozzle using a trim stick or other suitable flat tool to release the securing latch from the liftgate. Move the nozzle out enough that you can grasp onto the washer hose, then remove the hose from the nipple on the back of the nozzle and throw out the nozzle. During installation, secure the rear washer nozzle into the liftgate's mounting slot and remember to place the rubber gasket at the back of the nozzle. Reattach the launched washer hose to the barbed nipple and then push the hose and nipple into the hole in the mounting arm until the tab from the nipple is above the hole. Gently squeeze the nozzle handle just below the edge with firm pressure until the secret is complete.
