How to Repair and Service the Right Rear Parking Brake Cable on 2005 Dodge Ram 1500?

You should raise the car and support it, then lock the parking brake cable 2 before servicing or repairing the right rear parking brake cable. Work your way around the right side of the handlebar: pull on the brake cable at the equalizer and remove the cable from the front, equalizer, frame bracket and axle bracket. After that, unhook the length of cable from the shock bracket and bring the end of the brake cable 4 away from the brake lever 3. Please start the installation by linking the brake cable to the brake lever, as well as make sure the cable bracket is attached to the shock bracket. Attach the cable to the brackets on the axle and on the frame after that and then have the right cable link to the equalizer and the front cable ends up there too. Pull or push on the cable at the equalizer end and use the supplied nut to make adjustments.
