How to Effectively Service and Repair an Alternator on 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to mend the alternator, remove the negative battery cable, drive belt, and B+ terminal and field wire. Install the new generator taking off the generator and attaching the bolts and reconnecting the wires. The drive belt should be properly installed; be sure to reconnect the battery cable.
