How to Service and Repair a Rack and Pinion Steering System on 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

In order to service the rack and pinion, lock steering wheel, empty the power steering system and dis-connect the shaft. Take out the tires, loosen the tie rod nuts, and remove the splash shield. Detach mounting bolts, rearrange the rack and reassemble. Reassemble every part and replace the power steering pump.
