How to Service a Cruise Control Switch on 2005 Jeep Liberty?

Before starting to service the cruise control, disconnect and set aside the negative battery cable for 2 minutes so that the system capacitor doesn't trigger by mistake. After taking out the air bag module, remove the electrical connector for the speed control switch. Loosen and remove the screw on the mount, then pull the switch from the steering wheel. After that, set the switch on the wheel, attach and tighten it clamp following the instructions in the manual and attach the electrical cable. After that, put the air bag module back in and link the negative battery cable to the battery.
