How to Service and Repair a Door Check on the Rear Door on 2005 Jeep Liberty?

To repair the rear door check, remove the waterdam and unscrew the door check from the B-pillar. Remove the nuts and check strap. Install the new strap with the part number facing inboard, tighten to 12 N.m, and reconnect before reinstalling the waterdam.
