Raise and hold up the vehicle, then detach the wire from the O2S sensor. Make sure not to pull on the wire itself. The O2S sensor can be removed with the tool from your kit and the threads in the exhaust pipe should be cleaned with the correct tap. You should notice that the oxygen sensor's threads have anti-seize compound on them already, so apply no additional compound when installing it. Attach the O2S sensor, tighten it to a weight of 30 Newton- meters or 22 ft. lbs. and then reconnect the sensor wire connections before putting the vehicle back down.
