How to Remove and Install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor in a 2.4L Engine on 2005 Jeep Liberty?

This 2.4L engine sensor is positioned at the end of the backend plenum inside the intake manifold. First, take out the wire connector from your car's sensor and then wash away the dirt that has accumulated at the sensor's base. Working gently, lift the small tab, turn the sensor back 1/4 turn and pull it out. Inspect how the sensor O-ring is placed. When installing, make sure the O-ring is not damaged and clean the hole in the intake manifold where the sensor mounts. Place the sensor inside the intake manifold and turn it clockwise until you see the release tab. At that point, connect the electrical connector.
