How to Service and Repair Automatic Transmission Shift Levers on 2006 Chrysler Crossfire?

To fix the shift lever assembly, remove the front center console and gear shift handle. Disconnect the wire harness connectors, remove the retaining bolts and raise the shift mechanism. Reconnect the shift rod, secure, rebolt, reconnect the harness and reassemble the console and handle.
