  A: Before starting, take out the negative terminal from the battery and then remove the instrument panel silencer panel. After that, take out the inflatable knee blocker. Before connecting the cable, position the ignition key in ACC and make sure it's not obstructing the cylinder of your car. Take out the center console by disconnecting the shift interlock cable from the shift mechanism by pushing in the retention tab with a suitable screwdriver. Before installing, keep the ignition key in ACC and attach the shift interlock cable to the ignition cylinder and fasten it to the instrument panel retainer. Cable the interlock cable around the shift mechanism until it reaches the cam, attach the cable core to the cam and fix the housing of the cable to the mechanism. After that, adjust the interlock cable and return the center console assembly to its position.
