Before removing it, remove the lid on the air cleaner and unplug the inlet air temperature sensor and makeup air hose. Following that, remove the negative cable from the battery and switch off the engine. Following the removal of the air bag, undo the top screw and adjust the steering wheel so you can get to the switch at 6 o'clock and then remove the screws and the electrical connection to remove the switch from the back. To set the switch in place, join the electric connector, position the rubber seal and tighten the two screws to 1.6 N.m (15 in. lbs.).
