2006 Chrysler Sebring A/C Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service the A/C Switch on 2006 Chrysler Sebring?
A: For vehicles with air bags, first unconnect and isolate the negative battery terminal, then make sure you wait two minutes to allow all air bag capacitors to discharge. Turn off the ignition, remove the negative battery cable and after that, carefully pop the center bezel from the instrument panel. With the center bezel on your workbench, detach the six screws from the A/C-heater control. After that, take out the control. Install the A/C-heater control by releasing the retaining clips around the instrument panel, placing the control into the center of the bezel and securing it with six screws tightened to 2 N.m (17 in. lbs.). At the end, fit the instrument panel center bezel and attach the battery negative wire.
