How to Service and Repair the A/C Switch on Chrysler Sebring?

Before servicing the A/C heater control, disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the control bezel from the dormer and take out the control, then detach the control wiring harness. Take out the screws that are used to mount the control. The control goes on the bezel and you secure it into place with the included mounting screws. Slot the control harness onto the control, line up the bezel with the dashboard, press the bezel and control together, but don't touch the knobs as you do this to avoid damage. Now, attach the negative battery cable as it was before.

Mount the air conditioning-heater control at the back of the console bezel and fix it in place with four screws, turning them to 2 Nm (17 in. lbs.). Once the console bezel is installed, put back the negative battery terminal. The A/C-heater control performs the Actuator Calibration function automatically when the ignition is first turned on with a new or reinstalled control in place. If you have moved the A/C-heater control from another car, open Actuator Calibration manually using the scan tool.
