How to Accurately Align a Clock Spring in a Steering Wheel on 2006 Chrysler Sebring?

The first step is to line the tires up with the front of the car so the steering wheel sits correctly. Take out the driver air bag from the steering wheel and pull all the wire connectors off the back of it. After that, unplug the steering wheel and press down on the plastic lock pin to remove the lock. While the lock mechanism is retracted, spin the Clock Spring rotor clockwise until it stops, so you do not use too much force. For this exit, turn the rotor three times counterclockwise until the wires are at the top. After that, unlock the plastic locking pin to snap the Clock Spring into the lock mechanism. After finishing, check and test the air bag system and then connect the positive cable to the battery.
