How to Replace a Hood Hinge Without Removing the Hood on 2006 Dodge Dakota?

In replacing hood hinges, open the hood and hold the side that requires replacement. Mark the location of bolts, take off support cylinder and hinge. Hinge the new hinge by lining up the new hinge with marks, attaching bolts with a recommended torque and reconnect the support cylinder. Test the hood and adjust when necessary.
