How to Service a Liftgate Hinge Without Removing the Liftgate on 2006 Dodge Durango?

To repair the trunk or liftgate hinge, hold up the liftgate and take off the upper rear headliner trim. Mark the hinge position then remove liftgate and body bolts to change the hinge. Tighten all bolts to 28N.m (21 ft.lbs.) and reinstall headliner trim.
