How to Effectively Service and Replace a MAP Sensor on 2006 Dodge Durango?

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor should only be handled carefully and is found at the front of the intake manifold. Before taking out the sensor, first take out the connector, then wipe down the area around it. At the next step, remove the two screws securing the MAP sensor, take it out and inspect the O-ring loop. Clean through the mounting hole in the intake manifold before installing and be sure not to find cuts or tears in the O-ring. Fit the sensor into the manifold, bolt it in place and tighten the screws to 25 in. lbs. (3 N.m). Remember to reconnect the electrical component afterwards.
