2006 Dodge Durango Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove and Install the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2006 Dodge Durango?
A: The intake air temperature sensor is found on the left side of the intake manifold plenum. Remove the electrical connector linking the IAT sensor before hauling the sensor out. Begin by wiping dirt off of the sensor's base on the intake manifold and then scrub the entire sensor. Afterwards, lift the plastic release tab, rotate the sensor a bit and pull it up to remove it. Look at the sensor O-ring to determine its condition. Before installing, check the O-ring and wipe clean the mounting hole in the intake manifold. Insert the sensor into the intake manifold and twist it clockwise until you see the release tab. After that, attach the connector to the sensor before you insert it into your vehicle.
