2006 Dodge Durango Seat Heater Switch Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Maintain a Seat Heater Switch on 2006 Dodge Durango?
A: Before servicing the heated seat, you should first unconnect and disconnect the battery negative cable. Take the center bezel off the instrument cluster, then lift out the heated switch bezel with both switches attached. Ease the switch out of the heated seat switch bezel from the back and then work the heated seat switch through the rear of the bezel. Before installation, confirm that the heated seat switches fit securely in the right holes of the heated seat switch bezel because the correct positions are specified by a keyway on the back of each switch. Press the button that heats the seat from behind the bezel, snap the center bezel into place on the instrument panel, reattach the battery negative cable and check that the heating system works.
