To service the steering wheel, shut off and discard the air bag on the driver's side of the vehicle. Partially remove and discard the steering wheel bolt then use a puller to remove the steering wheel. Install a new bolt (proper alignment and torque to 61 Nm or 45 ft. lbs.) and then reinstall the air bag.
