Before taking apart the outer tie rod end from the inner tie rod 4, take note of how many times you turn it so you can remake and adjust the toe properly. For installing, place the outer tie rod end 2 over the inner tie rod 4 as before and then put it in the steering knuckle 5. Screw on the ball stud nut 1 until it reaches 75 Nm (55 ft. lbs.), mark the car's intended toe settings, then tighten nut 3 to 130 Nm (96 ft. lbs.).
