How to Service and Repair a Front Cross-Member on 2006 Jeep Commander?

To service the front cross-member, support the engine, remove skid plates and rotors, remove the outer tie rod end and upper ball joint by using puller tools. Disconnect speed sensors, remove lower ball joint and remove knuckles. For installation, do the reverse, but take care to put torque on bolts.
