Q: How to Service and Repair a Battery Tray on 2006 Jeep Liberty?
A: Before you service or repair the battery tray, lift the battery from the tray (1), then pull down and take the PDC out (1). After that, undo the three nuts (2) which keep the battery tray (1) to the front the left front wheelhouse inner panel and remove the battery tray from below the vehicle. Check and clean the battery tray (1) and then fit it into the weld studs on the inner door of the left front wheelhouse. Insert the three nuts (2) and tighten them until the battery reach 7 N.m (65 in. lbs.). Last, hook up the PDC to the bottom of the battery tray and lay the battery on the battery tray.
