How to Service Car Speakers in the Front Door on 2006 Jeep Liberty?

Before handling the front door speaker, first pull out the battery negative cable. After that, take out the front door trim panel and the speakers' fasteners. Open the door and remove the internal speaker (1) connected to the wire harness. Secure the wire harness connector in the speaker, attach it to the door using the two mounting screws and tighten those screws to a torque of 2 N.m (20 in. lbs.). After that, attach the front section of trim above the door and reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
